Privacy notice

MOVR Real Estate SL treats owner and buyer information as confidential. This notice explains what we do with the details you send us through sellwithmovr.es, WhatsApp, email or in person. The Spanish-language version of this policy is available at política de privacidad.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details you enter yourself: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email.
  • Property details: location, type, characteristics, photographs, legal and energy documentation.
  • Messages exchanged by WhatsApp Business, email or through a form on this site.
  • Technical and measurement data: page visited, referring website and campaign parameters, so we know which guides and calculators are useful (see cookie policy).

We never collect the figures you type into our calculators as personal data — calculations run in your browser. If you ask us to email you a result, only the summary figures you chose to send are stored with your enquiry.

3. Why we use it

  • To prepare and send the valuation, market report or guide you requested.
  • To market and complete the sale of your property if you instruct us.
  • To keep in touch during the process, in your language.
  • To meet legal obligations (anti-money-laundering law, RAICV rules, Spanish tax reporting).

We do not sell your data, and we do not pass your contact details to third-party lead brokers or portals for marketing.

4. Legal basis

  • Consent when you contact us or request a document (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Performance of a contract once you instruct us to sell (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Legal obligation under Spanish real-estate and tax law (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Legitimate interest in replying to your message (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

5. How long we keep it

For as long as needed to answer your request, and afterwards for the statutory retention periods that apply to commercial, tax and anti-money-laundering records (typically 5 to 10 years). If you never instruct us, you can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

6. Who receives it

  • Property portals where your home is advertised, and only the details needed for the listing.
  • Collaborating professionals — photographers, energy assessors, tax advisers, notaries — under confidentiality.
  • Public authorities where the law requires it.
  • Our technology providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics) acting as processors.

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area except to technology providers covered by frameworks recognised by the European Commission.

7. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to info@movr.es. If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. WhatsApp conversations run through WhatsApp Business and are also subject to that provider’s own privacy policy.
